Arthur Weathers Obituary
Scottsdale - Dr. Arthur (Kit) Weathers, age 75, of Scottsdale, AZ. and formerly from Griffin, Georgia, passed away peacefully Dec. 25 from complications of alzheimers. Preceded in death by his parents, Emily and Ar-thur Weathers. Survived by his wife Lori, son, Jason Weathers (Ester), brothers Beck Weathers (Mar-garet), and Dan Weathers (Brenda). Granddaughter Isabel, Stepdaughter, Kristin (Robert Tix). He was loved by many and will be so deeply missed. Full obituary details to follow.

The world of dentistry knew Kit as a brilliant dental practitioner and teacher. I, on the other hand remember him from our close friendship in Griffin, GA soaring over the hills of middle Georgia in his hot air balloon. So many crazy, laughable and exciting times. The last time I saw Kit was at the final airing of the Mash TV series party in his home. Lots of laughs, loads of fond memories from an amazing, brilliant, very funny man. Without Kit, the world is many laughs shy of a full bucket! Through the years I have thought of him often.

Kit and I have been friends and colleagues since 1976 when he became the first teacher of the Automated Endo course. Lots of dentists will miss his words of wisdom.
