Not sure what to say?

Saddened to learn of Coach Weiner's passing. It was around 1951 that he and his wife came to Kings Mountain, NC where he became head coach for the KMHS football team. My dad sold the couple new furniture and I assisted in delivering it to their home on Meadowbrook Road which was the town's newest subdivision, Crescent Hill. That year I was playing 9th grade football so was not on his team but I was in his PE class where he enjoyed pitching his "old blooper" during softball games. After...

Dear Aunt Boots and family.
So sorry to hear of Uncle Art's passing. Please accept our deepest sympathies. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May all the happy memories comfort you. May he rest in peace.

All our love,
Joe, Nancy, Joey and Richie

Our warmest thoughts are with all of you as we reflect beautiful memories of the past. What a great gentle--man. Bob and Nancy Weant.

We would like to express our condolences to Art's family.
We saw both Art and Boots at the last UNC College Football reunion - I (Bob) had the pleasure of being a teammate of Art's on the 1946-1949 UNC Football teams.
Art was a great athlete, but even more; a great person and
citizen. He was a superlative representative for the University and the state of North Carolina.
With Fondest Memories,

Dear Boots and family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of my cousin, "Artie." My family and I were so sorry to learn of the sad news of his passing. Art will be greatly missed. As all who new him, we were extremely proud of his service to our country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps. and his induction into both the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame. He lived a life of great achievements, most blessed of all, his life with you...

When I was a youngster wanting to be a football star Art Weiner was our high school team's hero...He and Choo Choo were the best...May God bless you all...
