I knew Dr. Kumar for 46 years and his untimely death left me saddened beyond words. I met him first as a surgical resident. Then he became my chief resident and later, he very generously invited me to join his well-established surgical practice. I learned much from Ashok in the operating room and out; he was a master of his craft. He performed thousands of "precise and demanding surgeries." He was a great influence on my professional career; his friendship and support meant the world to me....

A huge loss of a great friend and Doctor who saved so many lives

Dr Kumar was one of the best vascular surgeons in Milwaukee. He was welcoming and kind. I will always remember the great love and dedication he has for his wife.
