One of the loveliest Alpha Delta Kappa sisters I had the pleasure of meeting. She often warmly welcomed us into her home for council meetings. Really miss this elegant sister.

I recently got together with a few colleagues, and the conversation turned towards our respective teachers who have had the most profound impact on us. Mrs. Konstan was one of those people for me. After that conversation with colleagues, I "googled" her, only to come across this incredibly sad news. Mrs. Konstan (I'm 43 years old, but she will always be Mrs. Konstan, my 4th grade teacher at Thomas Edison) was "strict," but taught me discipline, and it was with her that I had one of the...

Athena was a bright star in everyone's world, a pillar of strength and a beautiful lady on the inside and outside. She will be sadly missed. Mrs. Konstan was my 6th Grade teacher at Thomas Edison, a long time ago. I'm 25 now. And I have to say, she definetly installed passion into my work. Whether it was through study, or when I was conflict manager haha. I can honestly say my first strict teacher, but boy did it help me out for great days ahead. Rest in peace Mrs. K. #tigersforever
