August M. "Gus" Bohm

Oh I'm sorry I didn't try to find Gus earlier, he sounds like a blessed wonderful man! Just came across this looking for August Bohm. He was my great great Uncle (Josephine his sister was my great great grandmother and her daughter Genevieve was my grandmother). My mother (Shirley Wozniak Hutchens Dull) and I have many pictures of Agnes, Gus's mother. Will be trying to find your family to pass these on. Julie 650-452-5253

I am sorry to learn of the passing of Gus. I remember the many times we talked in his office, how he enjoyed our bridge games and the time we spent trying to raise a garden. He was a great friend and will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to Candance and the rest of the family. Although my visits with Gus were few, I always remembered Gus's kind demeanor and thought of him often! It doesn't take much to make a lasting impression on someone, and Gus was that person for me! You'll be missed! May you be enjoying the kingdom of heaven!

While attending Washburn University in the early 90's, I attended a Kappa Sigma fraternity alumni function. I had several older alumni come up to me and ask if I was related to Gus Bohm. Up till that point I didn't realize that Gus attended Washburn too. The Kappa Sig boys spoke very highly about him even though he wasn't an "official" member of the fraternity, apparently they all were good friends. He will be missed by more than just family.
