When I go up the stairs I am always met with a picture of you... smiling and it warms me. It makes me feel strong. I hope somewhere in the ether it gives you comfort to know you live on in so many peoples lives. Just the other day I as looking at the cookbook you gave us when we got married and how you loved this book. I think I will make something from here to share.... and remember you. I did not know you but wished I had I hope your soul is soaring with others

It is wonderful to know your impact on the people you met in your life and how much you mean to them and for that I am sad for our loss.

My husband and I met you only once, at you restaurant, Sauced. It was the night of, or just prior to, the Chopped episode airing on TV. You mentioned a party you were going to be having, and though you wouldn't tell us what the outcome would be, you glowed with pride and I guessed you had won. You served us pork rinds for a bar snack that were so delicious, I melted off the bar stool.
