I remember when I found out the news about Ayesha's death and I was in shock. Such an incredible woman! She exemplified beauty, intelligence, and grace like it was completely unique to her. I learned of her through her Women Love Power program and her teachings changed my life. She thought about things critically and she strived to uplift women and the black community, which I praise her for. I am deeply saddened by the loss of such a light, I want her family to know that she will live on in...

My heart is complete is completely broken. I did not personally know Ayesha, I discovered her in my search for positive Black female role model. Talent exuded out of her. She spoke so eloquently. She indeed was a star on this planet. The world many time can be so harsh. Why take her? it's unfathomable! In her short time here, she accomplished so much. I felt a sisterhood with her. We were cool educated proud Black women who were not afraid to show our intellect/strength. To her family,...

I have watched the Grapevine podcast ,and I am feeling the loss of a brilliant young lady. I don’t know her, and I’m feeling this loss like she was in my circle of friends. I was going to say I don’t know why I feel this loss so deeply ,but I know why. It was who she represented in this world, and a loss of a soldier for women and black people. Knowledge is power and there is less of it to share because she has transitioned. May your soul Rest In Peace! Well done !!!❤❤❤

Ayesha was an important teacher to me. I cannot believe she is gone. She just gave and gave and did so much for my life and the lives of so many people that I serve in my work as a yoga therapist. I never had the good fortune to be able to speak with her, but her reach was beyond what she may have been aware of. I am so heartbroken that I will never get to speak with her in person or share with her how much she has impacted my life and helped me to heal. I sincerely hope that the family and...
