I have watched the Grapevine podcast ,and I am feeling the loss of a brilliant young lady. I don’t know her, and I’m feeling this loss like she was in my circle of friends. I was going to say I don’t know why I feel this loss so deeply ,but I know why. It was who she represented in this world, and a loss of a soldier for women and black people. Ayesha was an important teacher to me. I cannot believe she is gone. She just gave and gave and did so much for my life and the lives of so many people that I serve in my work as a yoga therapist. I never had the good fortune to be able to speak with her, but her reach was beyond what she may have been aware of.
