Not sure what to say?

I can think of no one I respected and admired more than Waugh Crigler, my friend and Christian model, teacher, and a man for all seasons. I can still feel his influence in my life.

Waugh was my most admired friend, Bible teacher for many years, and treated his young boxwood plants with the firm gentleness for which he was best known for relating to everyone. His spirit left his body only four months ago, but it will live eternally. Bob Brown, Sr.

Met B. Waugh just before he went to college at 250 pounds and a state wrestling champion. Never down, always positive and a blessing to be around. Regret very much the pain he had to endure before death and his attitude throughout his time in Minnesota and final days in Chalottesville. He will be part of my life until I too, depart. J.D.

Anne and Waugh cannot be replaced, but we can them alive in our hearts and souls as about the best that can become of fellow human beings. Both were diligent disciples of Jesus Christ, loved without limitations, and walked as models for us all. Thanks God for their friendship and love. I miss them.

Dear Crigler Family, Waugh and Anne were true Christians who loved the Lord, family and friends. They were always available to support and pray for others. They will be greatly missed, but still be a part of us in our hearts and memories. (Swimming buddy and Trinity member)

Honorable and free, an example to all.

Sending our sincere condolences

I just wanted to send my condolences to the family. I met Waugh at ACAC about 4 years ago. He always had a smile on his face and something kind to say. I will hold onto conversations we shared and his amazing care and concern for people. With much love and gratitude. Nate

As Harlowe-Powell Auction there were times that we would run into Waugh any place in Central Virginia or at the Charlottesville Gallery. Always ready with questions for us. Always with a terrific smile and sometimes sporting a great bow-tie, Waugh was a gentleman, a scholar, he would offer his determination about the item and usually ask for an absentee bid sheet! Then he was off to the balance of the day. He was a client we will never forget. We send special thoughts to his family. ...
