Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Abegg was one of my favorite teachers at Fairview High School. She was instrumental in developing my love for English literature and writing. Jacquelyn Graham, PhD Class of 1984

Mrs Abegg was a kind lady, and a good teacher. She was one of my favorites.

Mrs. Abegg was an exceptional teacher. She was smart, caring, helpful, encouraging and inspirational. She understood and applied the art and science of teaching and she knew how to best reach each student so that they could learn and grow in a positive healthy environment. By believing in the potential of her students, she touched the future. RIP Mrs. Abegg, you made a difference.

It is wonderful to read about the impact that Mrs. Abegg had on her students. I feel the same way. Her Humanities class inspired life-long interests for me in art, literature, architecture, history, travel . . .
I'm probably not the only person with the answer to computer security question, favorite teacher? Abegg

Mrs. Abegg was a super Honors AP teacher and a gem in a very good high school. She was supportive of her students’ countless interests, and a good soul. My 1983 classmates and I still speak fondly of her and hope that the adventure to the NW was a joy to her.

You have our deepest sympathy. Barbara was admired by her students and peers; she was caring, articulate and inspiring. It was a pleasure to work with her at Fairview High School.

Mrs. Abegg was and remains a wonderful inspiration to me. As faculty sponsor of the Student Council at Fairview High School in 1977 when I served as president, she led me to believe the sky was the limit. I know I've achieved more in my life because of Mrs. Abegg. As a trainer and professor myself now of 30 years, the number of years she taught at FHS, I try to be my students'/clients' "Mrs. Abegg." I know what she did for me, and I try to pass it along. She was truly a gift. God bless...

I remember Barb fondly from her days volunteering at the Edinboro Elementary writing center. She also was instrumental in getting me to speak in front of groups about the work we were doing there. RIP

Barbara Abegg had a profound affect on my high school education and I have thought of her often and fondly since graduation. She inspired me to try my hardest and helped me become intellectually curious and a lifelong learner. My condolences to her family and friends for your loss of such a wonderful person and educator. May she rest in peace.
