You are missed and thought of each and every single day and you will be until my last breath. I know we weren't related by blood, but I remember the kindness you showed my brother and I during some tough years. When I saw the email pop up today, I thought I'd drop you a note. I can still remember your laugh (it made everyone smile) and my one shift at the Shish kebab stall at the Renaissance Fair. I didn´t exactly pull my weight that day, but you took in a stride. Thanks for treating us like part of your family.

Happy Mother's Day, my love. I tried to keep busy today so I wouldn't dwell on how much I miss you. I also tried hard to think about all the wonderful things about you. Dear Momma, Happy Heavenly 81st Birthday, my love! We were at dinner last night celebrating Dad and Sophie's upcoming birthdays and of course, we had a toast in your honor and did lots of reminiscing about YOU. Dear Mom, I sit here 13 years later still unsure of what to say. My heart aches to be with you, talk with you, laugh with you, travel with you, cook and bake with you, and pretty much everything else with you.
