Not sure what to say?

I just found this and am so sorry to learn of her loss. We taught together at MacArthur (1966-68), and I kept in touch with her for a while after I married and moved to Florida. I remember well how thrilled she was to have John. She was a delightful lady and a great teacher.

I loved Mrs. Burris, I had her for eighth grade English, she was so sweet and caring. Such a lovely woman.. My heart aches..

To one of the best teachers a girl could have ever have in her life. You helped me to survive the eighth grade, acne, and boys. You will always be loved, missed and never forgotten.

Mrs. Burris was my teacher at South Park Middle School. She was an incredible woman. Mrs. Burris is the reason that I am a teacher.

John, Mrs. Burris was a blessing to all who came in contact with her. The Gremillions share your sorrow.
She will be sorely missed.

John, Your mother was a very special person in our lives for many years.
She was every bit the person listed in
the paper and more. Our prayers and
thoughts are with you and your family
at tis time. Charles & Martha Jo Starcke.

Dear John and family,
What a celebration of Barbara's life! John, grieving will pass, but you will have wonderful memories to last your life time. Barbara portrayed all the fruits of the Holy Spirit. She was a great lady. 1 Cor. 2:9.

Prayers for the family. Mrs. Burris was a wonderful teacher! We all have great memories of her from MacArthur Middle School in Beaumont. She was an inspiration and I also became a teacher.
