Not sure what to say?

Barbara and I have been friends since Ridgeview Junior High days, we were in Job´s Daughters together and remained in contact over these many years, in spite of the fact that I now live in Georgia. My sincere condolences to Jerry, their girls, her brother, Johnny, and the entire family.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

What a perfect tribute to a magnificent Barbara Closs! She was one of a kind and made everyone feel we were her very special friend. I met Barbara and Gerry when I was dating their High School friend Lee Negri. They welcomed me with love and laughter. We had many memorable times together with Tom and Janis Lowenstein included. I enjoyed their close comradery. Barbara was always the instigator of our adventures ! She had the most loving heart. She has called me for 16 years to wish me a...

We will miss Mrs. Butter Cream - always came out to see how the customers were doing - made you feel like an important person. We had one occassion where we RVed together with other Elks Club members. She and Gerry were the life of the party. RIP - Ken and Rosemary Tubman

I'm so sorry to read of Barbara's passing. She was a wonderful, strong, and very kind woman that I enjoyed waiting on during my 26 years working for Vallergas Markets. I loved to see her and Gerry together, it was a beautiful relationship to witness. Later I found out that her and my Mother knew each other from Napa High, class of 1961-go Indians! She was so thoughtful with my Mom in her declining years-she always made sure to have my Mom's favorite pie, egg custard, waiting for her at...

Johnnie & I have been friends with Barbara and Gerry for years. We shared many good times together over the years. Lots of laughs and fun for sure. Her passing is hard on all her family and friends for sure. By the way, after reading the obit, there is no other words to describe Barbara except to say that was the perfect description. great job!! Rest in peace, my friend.

There was a time when Gerry and Barbara were close friends with my parents. We shared many dinners and relaxing evenings together. My condolences to the Closs family. Love, Don Vanderschoot Jr.

How many years ago I used to do Barbara`s hair she was always so much fun and always look forward for her to come in and tell me a story it was great so sorry to hear this, but I think she probably had a great life!

Our dads worked together at Basalt Rock Company where mine was the shovel operator in 1945. Loved the story about the pink box and the spot-on description of Barbara! I'm also a proud 1961 Napa Indian. May you be comforted by your memories. Sharon Quinlan Sanders
