Not sure what to say?

Gone but not forgotten!

Still sorely missed!

She was a fine lady and a good friend.

She was the kindest person I knew in NY.

Just learned of Barbara's passing from one of her 1964 Austin High School classmates (Knoxville, TN) as we reminisced about our freshman year at Knoxville College where we all met. My first & lasting impression from honor classes with her was beautiful, brilliant Barbara was destined for greatness. Obviously my impressions were accurate. What a tremendous legacy! My condolences to her family & friends.

I live in her building and we're all quite shocked by her passing. I'm sorry we didn't get to know each other better as it seems we had a lot in common. Rest in peace.

My deepest condolences. Mrs. Darko will be greatly missed by many and she will forever be in my heart.

The angels are always near to those who are grieving, to whisper to them that their loved ones are safe in the hand of God.

--Quoted in The Angels' Little Instruction Book by Eileen Elias Freeman

Ms. Barbara, you will truly be missed. I am grateful for the short time which I had the opportunity to share with you. You was such an amazing woman. You never hesitated to share your knowledge, wisdom and most of all, your love. The memories you created at the Bonifant will never be forgotten.

Rest In Peace, Barbara.
