Oh Barb how I miss you! Your laugh was infectious. I will always remember the night that we saw the spaceship....we found out later that it was a farmer harvesting his crops.
Sleep well my friend.

Dear Larry and family,
We were so very sorry to hear about Barb passing away. We remember "the good ol' days" when we would all dance our socks off in her basement about 55 years ago. She was a very fun person! We know your family has had some bad times over the years and we're sorry we have not been in touch sooner. We will not be able to attend the services but our hearts and prayers will be with you during this sad time. May her soul rest in peace and God watch over you all.
Sincerely, Marie & Chuck Jorgensen xx oo

I am heartbroken. I will always think of Mrs. Gervais (even as an adult I can never call her by her first name) as one of my "Moms" in the neighborhood. She was part of my childhood and even as I had children of my own, I would return to Cottage Grove and she would be one person I would always stop and visit...she would remember good times (and crazy stories) of all of us and we would laugh. I guess now she is up in heaven with Mrs Braun and my Dad, Floyd. I loved those visits cause for a little bit, I could remember how simple those times were. Mr. Gervais, Rene' and Doug....I hurt for you and we will always miss her....Love you, Kelly (Jungk) Jacobson

Dear Gervais Family~
I want to extend my deepest sympathy to all of you at this very difficult time.
I recall years ago when I would bring my guitar over to your house and jam in the garage with Doug on drums. Barbara was always so very nice. What wonderful memories!
It is my sincere prayer that God in His infinite love and mercy, will comfort all of you from this day forward.
In Christ Jesus~
