Not sure what to say?

Dr. Krause was my both my wife's and my PCP for 40 years at Pastor Medical Group in Brookline. She was not only a great doctor but she was a great listener, intelligent, compassionate, caring, practical, responsive, and professional. Barbara was the best doctor I ever had and I remember her with great respect and admiration and she will be missed. My wife passed away the week after Dr. Krause passed and then the Pandemic hit so I am quite late in posting this tribute. My sincere condolences...

Dr. K who told me to call her Barbara, was my primary care doctor for 28 years. She was the kindest doctor around. She listened with compassion and empathy and was always spot on with her diagnoses. I just found out today of her passing-I am heartbroken. She and I had our children around the same time and would always catch up on how they were doing. She was always so proud of Her kids. Rest In Peace dear Barbara. You’re one of a kind.

Apologies for the late note, but I just learned of Dr. Krause's passing. I was one of her patients, and I owe so much to her. She was spot on with all her diagnoses, and she made referrals to only the best doctors. As other have said, she was so easy to talk to, and she always put me at east. I enjoyed hearing her on WBUR after she left her practice in Brookline too. My condolences to her family.

She was a wonderful physician and human being. Always ready to listen. She was my PCP for 23 years. This is a terrible loss.

Glenn and Barbara, at home on Martha's Vineyard in September 2018

Dr. Krause was my beloved primary care physician for over 20 years in Boston. I was so sad when she moved to the Vineyard because I knew I would never have the same kind of connection with another physician. She was always respectful, understanding and caring and saw me through some tough times. This is devastating news, my heartfelt condolences to her family.

There are so many of her patients on Martha's Vineyard who respected and liked Dr. Krause. I speak for them I know by saying how much she will be missed. Not only as a professional, but as a kind hearted soul with a lovely sense of humor. A truly special person!! So sorry to the family.
