Departed too soon..Barbara you are sorely missed

I am really sorry about your loss. I cant tell you how much I miss her. She was instrumental to my life and my career.

I´m so sorry I can´t be in Pelham for Barbara today, and glad that Damian can be there. As spectacular as her academic and professional achievements were, she was a truly awesome person, and we are all the poorer for her loss. Much love to Peter, Gavin and her extended family.

Peter, thank you for sharing Barbara with us. I think I told you this, but I saw my first patient ever with her in 2005 and she inspired me and thousands of others through her passion for patients and science. If I achieve 10% of what she did in her career I'll consider my life a huge success.

The world is diminished by the loss of Barbara's brilliance, passion, caring and laughter. We will always miss her dearly.
