We were not only colleagues, but friends. She was a true professional and could light up a room with her bright personality and positive energy. There surely is a new and bright and shining star in our universe tonight.

How shocked I was to read this after reminiscing just today about "Mrs. Teter" and an African Violet mug she bought me so many years ago when I pledged a sorority at our alma mater, James Madison University (which was Madison College when Mrs. Teter attended). I took care of Andrew one summer during college and so enjoyed my days with him and my conversations with her. I am truly sorry for your loss and empathize whole heartedly having just lost my own mother at the age of 70 just a few weeks...
