Not sure what to say?

Read the story he wrote w Jack Unruh "The Bat". It's stuck with me to this day. See Sail July 1988.

I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Barry. May your hearts be at peace with all your loving memories of him.

Barry, just knowing you were there gave us a sense of peace and continuity. You will be greatly missed and we know that you are with dear Moo and your brother Stevens, sailing off for parts unknown. We send our heart's best love to WB and Barbara and their children.

A true character and free spirit has gone too early.Barry's family, the hills of Vermont, the boatyards and sailing waters of Long Island Sound have lost a good one.Barry and Moo are probably gunk-holing in some exotic location right now..Jonathan Mix[Branford,Ct]

We were so sorry to hear of Barry's passing. Barry had a most wonderful spirit. I will never forget Moo and Barry and the many kindnesses they showed to me and my family. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Barry, I thank you for your thoughtful ways and for your presence in my life. You will be dearly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you meet this difficult time. All of us who loved him so dearly know in our hearts that he is with Moo and at peace as they sail into the sunset together. We will all miss him deeply.

We will miss a good neighbor. Our thoughts and prayers are with Barbara, William and the entire Peale extended family.

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.
