I just found out about Barry's passing.. I am very sorry to hear... He was a great man... and a great boss...worked with him at Laventhol & Horwath... Again,.. such a loss to our world.. may he rest in peace....

Barry's obituary in the Columbia College Alumni Notes was startlng. He was a man who exuded life and vigor, both intellectually and personally.

I just found out about Barry's death by reading it in the Harvard Law School Bulletin & was shocked & saddened. Barry was among the most brilliant people I have ever met in my life & also one of the most humble & gracious. Although we did not see each other often after law school I always regarded him a's a dear friend. He will live in the hearts of all of his old friends forever. My condolences to his wife & family.

So sorry to learn of Barry's passing. Barry and I often had stimulating conversations at lunch when we worked for the same firm in Philadelphia back in the 80s. I admired Barry as a friend and a person of high intellect and integrity.

Several of us played golf with him at the Vinoy after he retired. A most pleasant person. We enjoyed his company and did not know he was ill. So sorry to learn of his passing.

Will-my family's thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. Your Dad was truly an amazing man! May God bless him and your family.

We wish to extend our condolences to Janet and the Augenbraun family on the loss of Barry. We have known the family going back to the days of Solomon Schechter and Akiba . Our son Matt, who we lost recently, was a good friend of Barry's son Will for many years. May you have strength as you go forward. Our hearts go out to you.

Our condolences to Janet and the family. He will be remembered for many things including his always strong defence of Israel.
