Jacqueline Melcher sends condolences to Barry's family. I am shocked to hear that he is gone. I recently spoke with Barry just a few weeks ago when he called with a short story that crossed my path some years ago. I enjoyed him and his comments although we had never met in person. My sympathy goes to Barry's family. He was a friend of my ex-boyfriend, Len Mero, also now deceased. We lunched together several times at the former Andre's restaurant here in Beverly Hills during those years and he was always very pleasant.
