Not sure what to say?

It was with profound sadness that I learned of Barry's passing. We have been friends for many years and I cherish all of the memories and mourn the fact that there will be no more to be made.

Barry had the most wonderful outlook on life--no matter what happened, he could find the good in the experience. All of life's setbacks were lessons, all of life's joys were a blessings. Barry made me smile through some of the darkest moments in my life.

His life was truly blessed and...

Barry, I love you and will miss you dearly. Our time over the past year or so has truly been extraordinary and a blessing. Clearly, we came to know one another much more during this time than in our first encounter with the Muchachos nearly thirty years ago.
I promise, through Christ who strengthens me, to continue to be a support to Claire and Jeffrey. Someday, in fullfillment of our Lord's Promise, we will all meet again to worship God, to chat, and to celebrate, in Paradise. Eternal...

Barry was my friend...I trusted his wisdom, enjoyed his company and admired his ability to serve in any capacity to get the job done for the TEAM.

He was not boastful, vulgar, prideful and he always left his ego in a place where his own self interests were always last.

Barry's legacy is one my family and I will always remember...His enthusiasm, kindness, intelligence and zest for life were charachteristics you could not miss when you saw Barry. Always one with a smile and...

Semper Fi Barry. Deb and I will miss you. Kevin & Debbie Griffin

I had the pleasure of working for Barry twice, Avis and Budget. Memorable relationships both personal and professional. He was honest, frank and loyal and somehow was successful in Sales. Perhaps it was the impression he could make on people; my daughter remembers him fondly from vists to our office some 25 years ago.

May GOD Bless you and have Mercy on you, Barry .

Dear Claire and Jeff,
I met you all last yr. at the beginning of a FUN LaCrosse season and I fondly remember seeing
Barry at the Practices & Games. He always was smiling and I could tell he was enjoying himself as he took
in ALL the action -
I love guys like that !

From the start Barry was a good friend....always a gentlemen, always so proud of his family, always ready to listen to you and quide you. He will always be missed but always be a part of those whose lives he blessed with his friendship.

My sincere condolences to the Durkin family.

I will always remember, not only Barry's business acumen but his compassion for all things family and will never forget his concern and care when I lost my Father.

In life, Barry always remembered the three basic "Fs" that should guide us all. His Faith, his Family, and his Friends.
You will be missed my friend. May God bless you and hold you close to his heart.
