Not sure what to say?

There is not a day that I don't think about Barry. We shared years of friendship at SUNY Downstate medical school and later on pediatric residency training at ale. Since we are both "Goldbergs", Barry was Goldberg. #1. We worked closely together in the laboratory classes, on rounds during clinical rotation, at during internship and residency at Yale. Barry and I were very meticulous. We always completed our work carefully and meticulously. We were the last to finish our laboratory work...

Barry and I were classmate brothers at Downstate and soul-mates in training at Yale Pediatrics. As "A Goldberg", he always kidded I was "Goldberg 2". He was right! I love you and always will.

PS: You always told me when we ate a 5 PB&J minute sandwich outside the men's room at Downstate before the 2PM class (we were the only ones remaining in the laboratory from AM class): "They will pay for this!" They never did! But...

My condolences to the entire Goldberg family. May all of your wonderful memories comfort you in this very sad time.

Very sad to learn of His passing. Was just a wonderful person He was my Doctor from childhood into young adulthood. His words of wisdom still ring in my memory some 30 years later. My Deepest sympathy.

Dr. Goldberg was a wonderful person and doctor during my years at Yale. He helped countless athletes to recover from injuries, including myself. May God bless your family the way Dr. Goldberg blessed so many of us.

Betty,
I can hardly look at a can of fruit cocktail without thinking about Barry. My son Alan was a patient of his and was to participate in a swim meet, but had a temperature of 103. We called "Dr. Goldberg" to see what to do. His advice was to buy fruit cocktail with heavy syrup, and have Alan drink only the syrup. After 2 days and consuming about 20 cans of the just the syrup his fever was down to where is was safe to swim. He missed coming in first by a hair! Hopefully the...

Dr Goldberg was was my girls first pediatrician....i would have done any thing he told me to concerning there health and welfare...i remember he made the nurse give them their injections so the girls wouldn't connnect pain with seeing him. he was a wonderful doctor he will be in our hearts forever...Stevie,Julia and Victoria Romano

Dr. Goldberg was a wonderful doctor to my 2 children. I remember being a new parent and how he would be so helpful and encouraging to me in that new role. He was always so considerate of my children's fears and he would always amaze me how he understood the quirks in their personalities. Even years later after he had left Milford Pediatrics he remembered my children at Amity High School. He was a beautiful person and a gift to the medical profession.

Betty, it was my honor and priviledge to care for Barry and get to know him and your wonderful family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
