Barry Anthony Jacobs

The Bear was always Bullish! Barry and I spent many years together, both at Merrill and then later, at his own firm on March Lane. We both shared the ups and downs of life but always remained friends. Life won't be the same without The Bear.

Barry has been a friend for over 30 years. During the last few years when we lived in the same condo complex "the Bear" would always be found in the swimming pool in the afternoon, where he visited with his neighbors. Now, we miss him every time we go to or from the complex.

I met Barry in 1966 when he and my husband, Tom, went through 6 mos. training for Dean Witter in San Francisco. We all became good friends and I went to work for him in 1977 @Merrill Lynch. He asked me to help out in the opening of the new Merrill office as his secretary for about 6 weeks...I was there for 27 years. He was a wonderful boss. a loving person and a great friend.
