Such a good guy, RIP ol friend.

I am deeply saddened of hearing of Barry's passing. He was a very good friend during our working at Reynolds. The last time i saw him he was talking about his upcoming retirement from Weyerhaeuser. He never mentioned anything about having cancer when we visited. He was always upbeat every time we saw each other after Reynolds shut down.

Barry...I will truly miss your smile. You always carried such calm strength and quiet grace. Even though Maria and I have been close friends for many years, you weren´t just her husband-you were her best friend. The love and friendship you shared with her was something special, and your presence will be deeply missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.. we were neighbors of Barry and Bruce living next door to his parents and enjoy watching the kids growing up. Barry and Bruce wereare very special to there parents and have always been very friendly giving us great memories as neighbors. So sad to read of Barry passing. May he rest in heaven with no more pain or suffering. Love chuck, eva Diseth and Chris and sari our kids on ponderosa drive!!
