I was so sad I wasn't able to make it to your dad's service. My dad (Ken Wilson) has told me how beautiful and fitting it was for him. I enjoyed listening to his many stories during his treatments at the clinic. He lived such an interesting life and I'm privileged to have taken care of him for the last 3 years. He will missed by all of us at the Hillsboro Kidney Center. -Renee Gillette

8th grade science class at Andrew Junior High was an experience in learning that I have never forgotten, and Barry was the teacher that set a standard that few others ever came near. We will miss him, but his influence will continue.

Barely a month goes by that something doesn't trigger memories of your wonderful husband who made such an impact on my life when I was 12 in his 8th grade block science and math class in Andrews Junior High. Mr. Thompson was my science teacher in the 8th grade in Andrews, TX in 1960. One of the finest teachers i ever had. Barry Thompson always comes to my mind when I think about what teachers should be. Thank you, sir.
