Not sure what to say?

The world just won't be the same with Basil. A superior attorney, and knew just how to take care of his paperboy on the holidays. Happy Trails My Dear Friend. I'll make sure I won't hit the door with the paper.

The hometown roots run very deep, and I saw this notice about Basil Beck with sadness and sympathy. Basil's mother, Lena, was my fifth grade teacher at Irving Avenue School, and much later, Basil was the attorney who handled my divorce. RIP Basil.

Condolences

I'm so very sorry to know that Basil is no longer on this earth's plane. He was a good and dear friend a long time ago. Betsy, I am so very sorry for your loss. May Basil's memory be a blessing.

Basil was one of my best friends for over 30 years. He was more like the brother that I never had. He was absolutely like family. His absence will be felt forever.

As a child I got many chances too meet Mr Beck though my mother the late Carrie Mathews. The worked hard too help build change in our small town. Especially the Southside of Bridgeton that way too long was neglected by our leaders. He was a lawyer for the people without a voice. My true condolences . Dorothy Mathews Kirkland

If Basil chose you as a friend, it was for life. I was one of the lucky ones. With a heart as big as the moon, he was one of the most intelligent people I´ve ever known. Quick witted, and loved to laugh. I will treasure our fun times, and memories made through the years. Now go run through the beautiful Heavens, my dear friend.~~ Sandi Fontana

Basil was Best Man at my first wedding and the lawyer for my second divorce. We fished together, we sailed together, and we confided in each other. I´m sorry we grew apart. During this time of mourning, may his family and loved ones find solace in the many fond memories they harbor of him. I know that I will. With deepest sympathy, Henry Bender
