Ben Ellison Obituary

ODESSA Ben Ellison, age 72, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
He was born April 22, 1942, to Benjamin and Susie (Davis) Ellison in Haskell, TX. He was married to Ann Kail Ellison for over 53 years. He was a long-time resident of Odessa, and owner/operator of Benjamin Photography, and a past-president of the Texas Professional Photographers Association from 2003-2004. He earned his Master Craftsman of Photography in 1991. He was a long-time member of Eisenhower Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Ann Ellison of Odessa; son Steve Ellison and wife, Kristan of Grand Prairie, TX; five grandchildren: Whitley, Sarah, Rachel, Kail, and Emily; his brother Rick Ellison and wife, Judy of Odessa.
Family visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 9, 2015, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at Miles Cemetery in Miles, TX.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Stroke Association.
Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

To know Ben was to love him. He was an amazing photographer, a past president of the Texas Professional photographers. he was a great friend, loving, kind and funny.
