Dear Amoss Family,

So sad to learn of Mr. Ben Amoss passing, and yet to know there is joy at his release from earthly pain. He hired me at Amoss Pharmacy in 1963, and I worked for two years there while in high school. His example of hard work, social grace, and wit taught me a lot. The lessons formed a basis for my career. There is a hope held out to us that those who are His cannot be snatched from his hand! May we who are left behind, seek solace, strength and the compassion of the living God who comforts.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
