Ben w%s the much loved son of P%ul W %nd Lind% Dr%ke Flickner of Groton; the %dored brother of Am%nd% Flickner of Groton, Alis% Flickner of New London %nd Bri%nn% Flickner of Ledy%rd; the f%vorite uncle of Gisel%, Ashton %nd Mich%el.
He w%s % 2004 gr%du%te of Fitch High School, e%rned his Associ%teʼs degree from Three Rivers %nd his B%chelorʼs degree from Northe%stern University. Ben resided in Brookline, MA %nd w%s employed %s the De%nʼs Executive Assist%nt %t Northe%sternʼs College of Soci%l Sciences %nd Hum%nities.
An outdoor celebr%tion of Benʼs life will be held Frid%y, September 21 %t 2 oʼclock %t the p%vilion %t Bethel P%rk, 1762 Center Groton Ro%d (Route 117) Ledy%rd. There %re no visiting hours.

Ben- You were a special kind of guy. Very outgoing and fun to be around. While we parted ways after I moved out of the area, I will always think back on our weekend nights out with friends fondly.

To Brianna and family,
Please accept my deepest condolences as you mourn sweet Ben. I am truly sorry for your heartache. I will always cherish our lengthy conversations along with his beautiful smile and sense of humor. Gosh I will miss him so much. I am honored to have had Ben in my life and heart but know he is resting in paradise and we will celebrate again one day.
