I had the pleasure of working with Ben in Death Valley. I arrived at the start of June, and over the course of 4 months, Ben became my best friend. He was old enough to be my dad, and frankly I looked up to him as one. Days feel like months in the middle of the desert, it felt like I knew him for years.
