I'm so saddened by the list of Ben. His heart of gold, quick wit, larger than life presence, kindness and humor will be missed, but forever remain in our hearts and minds.

Thank you to whoever wrote the obituary. It did justice to Bene and captured his spirit and essence. He was a bright light and for all who knew him, even if for a brief period of time, their world is just a bit dimmer now that he´s gone.

My deepest sympathies for your loss of a great man... I grew up in the Northgate area of North Sacramento in the 60's and 70's. A lot of days were spent hanging out at the Rexall drugs at the shopping center. It was there I met Benny for the first time, he was delivering prescriptions for them in his 1968 Firebird. Alex and Robin: I'm SO, so sorry about Ben's passing. From that first day I met him (when he made me cry) when I worked at Discovery Video, to the many, many times he and I were the Saturday "day squad" at the video store, I'll always remember and treasure his quick wit, rich stories, and points of view we exchanged and shared.
