Not sure what to say?

The Hebron Harvest Fair just won't be the same without you, Ben, though I know you, Barbara and my parents will all be watching over us as we try to fill their shoes at the Antique Farm Display. I'm so glad I have the DVD of his tour of the building so I can bone up on things before the fair.

To Ben's family
I was so saddened to hear about Ben's passing. He truly was one of my favorite people and I feel so blessed that I had the pleasure to get to know him. Every year coming to sit with me at the fair as Barbara and John set up their "crafts" I always looked forward to Tuesday and Wednesday of the fair for that reason. It won't be the same with out him there.
My deepest sympathies to all of you.

To Barbara and John, I am sorry to hear of Ben's passing. When I came to work at Hilltop Marine, Ben was a kind and gentle mentor. I will always remember his smiling face and warm friendly guidance as I learned to be a mechanic. He was truly a great guy and he will be missed by many who had the great fortune to know him. Both of you and Ben will be in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Morgan

Dear Barbara and family..I'm so sorry about the passing of your father. I can only imagine your sorrow as mine passed only 3 yrs ago and it still hurts. Please know that your friends are with you and join in your sorrow at this time. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.

with sincere sympathy,

Dear Barbara and John:

My brother Chris and I were so sorry to hear about Uncle Ben's passing. Thank you for the wonderful tribute to our late Grandmother Henrietta. Please let us know when the memorial service will take place. My email is: [email protected]

To Mr. Staba's family. I will remember him with fondness for our conversations over the years. I last saw him at a dinner held at the Russell Mercer Senior Center fairly recently. As always, he was spirited and engaging. I still remember when I was the Treasurer of the Hebron Republican Town Committee in the '80s, and a donation check came in from Ben. When people go to the polls, they expect to have a choice put up by the political parties, but so few actually send a check of support. ...

Barbara and John, Our love and thoughts are with you at this time. We have such wonderful memories of Uncle Ben that will last a lifetime. May he rest in peace. Phyllis and Al Scheibenpflug.

We came to know Ben in his older years. He was a great person to talk with. We will miss him.
