My sincerest condolences. I was law school classmates with Ben. I just moved back to Chicago after finishing a clerkship and thought to look up my friend, and see how things have been for him. I am so sorry to hear he has passed. He was one of the kindest individuals at the school and someone I greatly enjoyed hanging out with. He was very down-to-earth and easy to get along with. Dear John and Carol -- Words cannot express our sadness for your loss. Ben was a wonderful young man and we thought the world of him. We have great memories of the time he spent with us and our kids-- just hanging at our house or watching him enjoy the thrills of the rides at Kings Island, especially Drop Zone :) You have much to be proud of -- he achieved so much in his short life and you should always feel blessed that you had him for the time you did. He touched us all.

Love you...
