Not sure what to say?

A few years ago, I was sitting on a bench in the main plaza of the US Open / National Tennis Center in Queens, NY. As I was sitting there, a man came and sat next to me - the only available seat. As I sat there, and as he sat there, several tennis players who walked by, going to or from the outer courts or practice areas, came up to him and treated him almost like he was royalty. Our deepest condolences to our family. We know that Uncle Ben blessed many. Praying that God gives you all comfort and peace. - Yolanda (Stewart) Darville and family.

Benjamin taught to follow your dreams. He helped me a lot with Photography

My deepest sympathies to the Woods family I first met Ben in the Boy Scouts where I worked. Ben has always been a soft spoken gentleman. Later we would see each other at the tennis courts at Wheaton where I took several lessons from him or the Wheaton McDonald´s Ben was always so cheerful and always had something to share about tennis and his photography I have been blessed to have known such a kind and gentle soul May he RIP

Ben Woods and I were photo journalist for Black Tennis magazine. we did a lot of traveling and shooting tennis players playing all over the world. Ben was a wonderful guy quiet. We liked a lot of the same things we used to compare notes as far as lenses and pictures and cameras and things. I thought US open in New York was one of our favorite places because it was where we spent the most time, he´s going to be sorely missed by all who knew him may he rest in peace
