Not sure what to say?

Mrs Blum, Mara, Jerry and Steve,

I was very sad to hear about the passing of Mr. Blum. Our lives are forever influenced by those we grow up around. You were wonderful neighbors on Proctor Drive, and I have vivid memories of the times we shared together. My deepest and sincerest condolences.

My sincerest sympathy to the Blum Family on the loss of Bernie.

Dear Helen and family,
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Bernie's passing. He has taken care of our family since I was a teenager. I know he will be missed by many. I add my name to that list.
I remember my mother saying "you never have to worry about an inspection by the IRS if Bernie did your taxes". Your loss is shared by many.

I first met Bernie in about 2000 at the JCC and eventually learned that he was my father's childhood friend from Hartford. Within weeks Bernie had me running with him daily. Although I always hated running and still do, it was an honor and a pleasure to run with Bernie.
Bernie always looked out for me and always reminded me to stay healthy for my kids.
When Bernie attended my son's Bar Mitzvah two years ago, I was delighted.
Bernie, I'll miss you.

Dear Mrs. Blum, Mara, Jerry and Steve,
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Blum. I have very fond memories of growing up with such great neighbors. Please know that my thoughts are with you all.

Bernie was a friend, not only to me, but to everyone he came in contact with here at the JCC, both members and staff. He had a way of making us all feel glad for the chance to make the most of a new day. The Center will not be the same without him, but he will live in the hearts and memories of those whose lives he touched.

Dear Mara and Blum Family,

Although I never met your dad, I feel I have met him in you because all of the wonderful things people have said about him I have experienced by getting to know you.
May all the wonderful memories and words about your dad carry you through this time of sadness.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

I was sad to hear about Bernie's passing. I got to know him at the Estate and Business Planning Council of Hartford and through working with him on a couple of matters. I enjoyed our conversations together and working with Bernie. My condolences on your loss.

My condolences to the Blum family on this tragic loss. And our heartfelt sympathy to all of you.
