A Eulogy From His Wife
Bernie and I dated for 2 years and got married in 1947. This December would have been our 57th anniversary. He was a very caring and loving husband and father to his sons Marty and Scott. We had many good times together. He worked very hard as a salesman selling candy and tobacco. Prior to this he was on the police force for 7 years. He loved it, but left the force as I worried constantly about his life being in danger. He retired at 62 years of age.
