Bernard Jacobson was an intelligent, nice man with a good sense of humor. He gave a lecture once at SJU while I was an undergraduate student. This work brought me great joy; I loved hearing our great Philadelphia Orchestra rehearse under Maestro Muti. Thank you Mr. Jacobson!
