We grew up Murdoch neighbors of the wonderful Kilcullens. Our Grandmother, Rose Buddy, lived on Devonshire and was close to Mrs. Kilcullen. I remember delivering Rose's fresh-from-the-oven bread to the Kilcullens. Barney was like our dream big brother. He was always available to us kids, for fun and adventure. He helped build the brick wall behind our house, along the alley. Those were the days of outdoor movies and popcorn at Gualdonis, plays in garages, "school", even "mass" in garages....
