Not sure what to say?

Bernie taught me a lot in the development industry, his knowledge and wit will never be forgotten. The community lost a great man he will be missed.

The world has loss a wonderful man.May he rest in peace.

How I cherish those Saturays after Saturdays, after Saturays sitting with Bernie and Ben in their vacant field of dreams, Elk Terminal watching those dreams become reality. Having lost my Dad at an early age Bernie became my father figure, my mentor, my friend. Tough, demanding, stubborn, gentle and giving all at the same time. An extraordinary man. my heatfelt condolences to all of you.

We could hear your dad's power serve on the Park School tennis court from our house on Chateau. Condolences to your family. -Mary Mols Siedman

Mr. O taught me more than he ever realized. As a young real estate broker years ago, he had faith in my abilities before I did. I wish I took the time to learn more from this great man. As the saying goes; 'when a senior citizen dies, another library closes.' Thank you for the knowledge you shared with so many of us.

Dear Steven: Our deepest sympathy to you, Betsy and your brothers on the loss of your Dad. Our friendship went back 80 years, as you know. He was one of a kind and never changed.Deepest
sympathy to Sally on the recent loss
of her Dad. We hope it is some measure of comfort to know our thoughts are with you all.

Mr. Obletz epitomized a diminishing era – one characterized by business being done on a handshake, community commitment and involvement, and the mentoring of tomorrow’s leaders. He will be sorely missed but, his legacy will live on in WNY. My deepest condolences to the Obletz family for their loss.

Steve, Tom, Betsy and Doug: On behalf of the entire Hoyt family we send our most sincere condolences on the passing of your dad. Bernie was a great man who I respected immensely and whose advice I sought regularly. I really did not get to know him until after my father died and from that time on Bernie became somewhat of a father figure to me. When I had tough decisions to make as an elected official I would often seek out Bernie's advice and, sometimes, he would seek me out to give me...

My since condolences to theObletz family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Mr.O will be greatly missed.
