Russell and I were very saddened to learn just this morning of Bernie's passing. Bernie's was utterly charming, lovely, upright and damn funny. My days as an agent with Bernie and Stu in the late 1980's are memorable ones. Bernie would always leave me laughing after every encounter, and he would coin phrases that were dead on. I remember seeing both Bernie and Ellie together at my parents house in New Jersey when I was 12 or 13(I am now 54). I remember him fondly-he was a kind, funny, compassionate man. He seemed to love life and truly appreciate its wonderful gifts.

I am one of the many who loved Bernie, who benefitted from our friendship, and who will sorely miss him...
