Not sure what to say?

There is so much to say about My Dad I love and miss him. there is so much my Dad did for me and my Children not because he had to just because he wanted to, just giving a helping hand and asked nothing in return except our happiness. he was always there for us as a Dad, a Granddad, a Listener, helper, and was our all around book of knowledge. I am so lost without him he was the Best in every ones lives.

I light a candle for you on this Memorial Day Dada. I love you so much and wish you were here to celebrate. You so wanted out of the hospital so you could celebrate today. Wanted to know what The plans were! Well, you got your wish but not in the way you were hoping for. You are beyond our world now and hopefully joining us at the picnic you so loved in spirit.

My heart aches for Cris, her gramma, and family right now. Her granddad was the most kindhearted and loving person you could ever meet.. I would have traded places with him in a heartbeat so they didn't have to go through this pain. He will be sadly missed, but NEVER forgotten. Rest In Peace now.

In his younger days, Bud drove down from Michigan to Bridgeport, OH almost every other weekend to hang out with my brother Jim and I. His grandmother lived up the street. This is where he met his wife Loretta who lived in Martisn Ferry, two miles up the road.

Bud and I were always close and he was a great friend. I will miss him much.

I LOVE and MISS you so much Grandad xoxoxo. This candle is for You, My Grandpa John, Great Granny, Michael, and Auntie Dora <3

You will always be our KING Grandad :) xoxoxo

You are the best grandad a girl could ever ask for :'( No matter what it was we needed you were always there for us. Whenever I needed you to take me to a Dr's appt you were always there and when I was in the hospital having my back surgeries you were there. I'm so grateful for that. You were one of a kind Grandad, they broke the mold when they made you. Grandma was very lucky to have you. You took very good care of her all these years and never once did you complain. I never thought the day...

Aunt Loretta, I am so very sorry for your loss. My family often plays hand and foot-- we always talk about you and Uncle Bud when we do. We are very lucky to have shared time with Uncle Bud during your trips to Florida. Love, hugs, and prayers for you all.

R.I.P Mr. West. I know your hearts are breaking Mrs. West & Family. Mr. West was a good man. Such a good man.

I honestly can't imagine a better grandad, you never missed not one of my surgeries and god knows I had a ton but it never bothered you a bit you would camp if ther was available camping or stay in a hotel I was never an inconvenience to you and you were never one to me when it became my turn to care for you, it was an honor to stay here with you and listen to your life story , you lived an amazing life and sadness me that people will never get to hear all the great things you got to do,...
