Not sure what to say?

Dearest Inge, Frauke and Hendrick,
There are no words to express the sadness when a loved one passes. Since my father passed in January, I have come to understand that there is nothing to say that will ease the complicated emotions that arise during a time such as this. Please know that I am thinking of you and wish you fond memories of Bernie.

Ich möchte Eurer Familie hiermit mein tiefes Mitgefühl und meine Trauer aussprechen, wünsche Euch viel Kraft um diese schwere Zeit zu überstehen.
In stiller Trauer

Mrs. Aarnink:
Lisa & I would occassionally talk with Mr. Aarnink on Saturdays. His passing was a shock to us. We will always remember him as the friendly gentleman who wore the colorful reading glasses. He will be missed by so many.
May God bless you.

Meribeth,
It hurts to have to send condolences to you and your family because it makes this reality more real. Bernhard was one of a kind. Not only was he the kindest man I have ever met, he was my mentor. He used to call me his protégé. He taught me so much, not only about business but about life. I used to just love to sit and listen to all of his stories, he had so many. You are in my thoughts, and I wish you all possible comfort at this difficult time.
May his humble spirit...

Meribeth, Mr. & Mrs. Van Brug, I'm so sorry to learn about Bernard. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you at this time. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Mr. Aarnink at Wachovia as his Financial Advisor a few years ago. He was such a sweetheart, albeit a feisty one, who always put a smile on my face.

Our sincere condolances.
