Not sure what to say?

I am heartbroken to learn recently of Bert's passing. Such a lovely, friendly, generous man, and truly a master at his craft. My thoughts are with his family and friends. Such a loss.

I did business with Bert for over 30 years. So did my late mom. He was always so kind picking out a watch for my nephew when he was young and repairing all my watches and ordering special straps. He and Sandy were just wonderful together and I appreciate their kindness and long service.

Bert was one of the most interesting and kindest people I´ve ever know and I am very sad about his passing. He was phenomenal at his work and cared so much about his customers and was really just a great person. The clocks he has repaired for me are perfect and he did a great job. My condolences goes out for his family.

I was saddened to hear of Bert´s passing. He was a kind and thoughtful man, not to mention being a highly skilled watchmaker and jeweler. Whenever I stopped into the store, he would share his memories of my brother, uncle and grandfather, owners of the former A.Cohen Company in Boston. Bert will be missed. My condolences to the family.

What a loss for Needham. Bert was such a kind, calm, quietly witty presence in his shop, and he could fix anything presented to him. I was about to bring him something this week, when I learned of his passing. My condolences to his family, who must have felt so lucky to have this gentleman in their lives all these years. Wishing you happy memories, and may he rest in peace.

It was always a pleasure to take our old clocks and watches in to Bert. We knew he would always figure out a way to get them running again. It was a special to treat to share Swedish cookies and a conversation at Christmas. He will be missed. Rich and Jill Oetheimer

Sandy, I was greatly saddened to learn of Bert's passing. I first met Bert over 30 years ago and over time have had many interesting and informative conversations with him over our favorite topic, watches. I considered him a friend. My wife Marsha and I send our thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Richard Paolini, Needham, MA.

Bert was a perfect gentleman with a heart of gold. He had a natural way of making others feel welcome in his presence. He had a playful and slightly mischievous twinkle in his eye that he passed on to Toby and his grandchildren. May his memory continue to be a blessing and comfort to all who love him.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of my friend Toby´s father. Toby and I were college roommates. Bert must have been a great man if Toby is any reflection. My deepest condolences to the whole family in this sorrowful time.
