Youve been missed Randy.

Even as a young man and a student in my high school band, Randy was inspirational to me. A powerful and beautiful example to his peers of dutiful obedience, humble leadership and strong faith even in the aftermath of the tragic accident that left him crippled. I could not have asked for a more perfect band member.

Our family has been deeply touched by Randy's thoughtfulness and leadership at both UTD and Collin College - we are so saddened to learn of his passing and wish his family and friends much love and support - he was a genuine soul and will be greatly missed.

Dearest Batiste Family,
We were saddened to hear of the loss of such a wonderful man. Randy was one of the kindest people we have ever had the privilege of knowing. He was a happy smile as you entered his room, and a come again, anytime as you left. It didnt matter if you were a student in need; or a parent struggling with what tools to help their child succeed.
