ODESSA It was Monday. She was in her chair, and he was in his. They were quiet until her small voice said to him, "Let's go together." He looked at her and smiled...and he left that day and entered heaven, leaving her behind with a heavy heart and frail body. Her strength rallied and she made...

Not sure what to say?

I knew Brother and Sister Pugh through their extended family, Brother and Sister Stroud and Rona and Billie.. We were young and saw the love this family has for Our Lord. They lived the Christian life thru example in their everyday lives, not just inside the church doors. Sister Pugh and Sister Stroud were of the same cloth. They loved us in spite of all our faults and failures. That kind of love only comes from the Lord and like Brother Pugh, Brother Stroud was always there for us.May God...

To have known them was to have been truly blessed by God and I am so very glad I had that wonderful chance. I am very saddened to hear of their passing. They both touched my life in ways that will be with me forever and I am glad that they did. I pray that the Lord be with their family and His blessings follow them all their days as they did for these two mighty warriors of Jesus. My prayers are with you.

What a beautiful love story! They are now sitting at the feet of our Jesus.I wish I had known them. They sound like such loving, warm and selfless people who lived for Jesus and loved him with all that they had.Their family will be in my prayers.

We were so privileged to know Bro. Pugh. We first heard him on the Missouri Compground - 1966- and became a admirer ever since. He was such a statesmen of the gospel and true to his self. He was everything an apostle should have been. Can anyone take his place in statue? No. Terry and Pam, you preached for us in Lockport and we knew you were destined to be like your father. God Bless each of the family. Love and compassion. Bro. WC & Sally Willis, Cabot, Ark

I have never known a lady like this one. She was a queen if there ever was one. She was beautiful inside and out.She loved people. She was kind, gentle, sweet and a real Christian. I feel so priviledged to have spent many hours and days in her home. It was precious and I thank God for every chance I had to be around her. Mom, I will miss you every day of the rest of my life. I love you!!

What a beautiful story of a life well lived unselfishly. Although we never knew her personally, we know she was a great woman of God, and she was well loved by Bro. Pugh.
God bless the family and all those who are grieving over the loss of this beautiful couple.

Beautifully written for two people that obviously were God's workers. I am sadden because I did not know these two, this man and this woman who gave so much. They are with our Lord and Saviour Jesus, and all is well for Bessie and J.T.

Bro. J.T.Pugh was one of my instructors at Texas Bible College. His teaching, like his sermons, was easily remembered. He left indelible imprints on so many. All of us who had the joy of knowing him, knew of his great love for his adored wife. What a beautiful story, leaving this world together for their Heavenly mansion. What a legacy they leave to their children and grands, and what memories to those fortunate enough to know them.

Bro and Sis. Pugh were always an inspiration to me. I loved his ministry, as well a his sense of humor. She was so humble and so kind at all times. We have truly lost two great warriors in the Kingdom, but their fight is now over. God bless the family and church that will miss them the most. Sis. Nadine Thames, Olive Branch, Ms.
