I knew Brother and Sister Pugh through their extended family, Brother and Sister Stroud and Rona and Billie.. We were young and saw the love this family has for Our Lord. They lived the Christian life thru example in their everyday lives, not just inside the church doors. Sister Pugh and Sister Stroud were of the same cloth. They loved us in spite of all our faults and failures. That kind of love only comes from the Lord and like Brother Pugh, Brother Stroud was always there for us.May God bless all the family left behind. This love story was sad for the ones left behind but how sweet it must be for them to go before our Lord together.

To have known them was to have been truly blessed by God and I am so very glad I had that wonderful chance. I am very saddened to hear of their passing. They both touched my life in ways that will be with me forever and I am glad that they did. I pray that the Lord be with their family and His blessings follow them all their days as they did for these two mighty warriors of Jesus. My prayers are with you.

We were so privileged to know Bro. Pugh. We first heard him on the Missouri Compground - 1966- and became a admirer ever since. He was such a statesmen of the gospel and true to his self. He was everything an apostle should have been. Can anyone take his place in statue? No. Terry and Pam, you preached for us in Lockport and we knew you were destined to be like your father. God Bless each of the family. Love and compassion. Bro. WC & Sally Willis, Cabot, Ark

I have never known a lady like this one. She was a queen if there ever was one. She was beautiful inside and out.She loved people. She was kind, gentle, sweet and a real Christian. I feel so priviledged to have spent many hours and days in her home. It was precious and I thank God for every chance I had to be around her. Mom, I will miss you every day of the rest of my life. I love you!!

What a beautiful story of a life well lived unselfishly. Although we never knew her personally, we know she was a great woman of God, and she was well loved by Bro. Pugh.
God bless the family and all those who are grieving over the loss of this beautiful couple.

Beautifully written for two people that obviously were God's workers. I am sadden because I did not know these two, this man and this woman who gave so much. They are with our Lord and Saviour Jesus, and all is well for Bessie and J.T.

Bro. J.T.Pugh was one of my instructors at Texas Bible College. His teaching, like his sermons, was easily remembered. He left indelible imprints on so many. All of us who had the joy of knowing him, knew of his great love for his adored wife. What a beautiful story, leaving this world together for their Heavenly mansion. What a legacy they leave to their children and grands, and what memories to those fortunate enough to know them.

Bro and Sis. Pugh were always an inspiration to me. I loved his ministry, as well a his sense of humor. She was so humble and so kind at all times. We have truly lost two great warriors in the Kingdom, but their fight is now over. God bless the family and church that will miss them the most. Sis. Nadine Thames, Olive Branch, Ms.

At the age of 12 I received the gift of the spirit of God at a Youth Camp where Br. Pugh was ministering. I wonder just how big a crown he is wearing tonight. It must really be heavy with all the jewels he had in his.

We were shocked with the passing of our dear friend Brother J. T., then were doubly shocked to hear that his good wife Sister Bessie had joined him to be together with their Lord for eternity. There would be no words that would even begin to express our admiration and love for both of these incredible people. They have impacted our lives is such a powerful way. We have so many extremely fond memories of our visits with them in Port Arthur during Harvestime travels with Brother and Sister Urshan. Hearing Brother Urshan, in his unique way, kid with Sister Pugh and to hear her gentle but strong responses to Brother Urshan while Sister Urshan and Brother Pugh filled the room with laughter. Memories we hope never to forget. Our deepest sympathy to Datha, Terry, Nathaniel and their families. Our prayers are with you in Jesus' Name! !

Sis.Pugh is to beautiful to describe. I loved her deeply, and this void can be filled by no other.
She had such a sense of humor. Very witty and funny. Yet most of all she reflected Jesus Christ well. Always earnest about the things of God, and such a classy lady.
Rona you tried but there are just not words to make strangers understand what we have lost, and what eternity has gained.
I will miss them.

Sis Pugh was such a wonderful Woman of God. I am so Blessed not only to have known Pastor JT Pugh and Sis Pugh, But God allowed me to sit under thier ministry for 8 years. I often take a trip back to Odessa from time to time and when I do it is like going home. I have never been to another church that has such a kindness spirit as Pastor and Sis Pugh had shown. I was only 18 years old when I arrived in Odessa after working in the Big Bend National Park and Pastor and Sis Pugh took me and loved me as a young person coming from a family that was so disfunctional. Pastor Pugh taught me how to live for God, Sis Pugh taught me grace and mercy. What a honor to have had known them and been part of my life. I am blessed!

I remember the Pugh family from my time as a child in west Texas. My father, Chester Lewis Abbott, pastored the church in Lemesa for several years before moving to California. Each time we met, the thing that stood out the most was the kindness and gentleness of Brother Pugh. As our patriarchs go on home, we are left with saddened hearts but watching them leave this world with confidence of a much better place leaves behind a new faith. Brother and Sister Pugh, you will be missed.

Sis. Pugh was an awesome woman who loved her husband and family, but most of all her Lord Jesus Christ. She was most certainly a women out of Proverbs 31, who took care of her home and family. I am so thankful to have known her and her husband. Most of all I am thankful for their love and vision for the Kingdom of God. Without that vision my family would not have the Apostolic Heritage we do today. I am thankful for such a beautiful life lived for the Lord. If I could only live my life as Sis. Bessie Pugh did and leave a legacy of a life lived to serve Jesus Christ! Thank you Sis. Pugh for always giving to the Kingdom of God. And thank you for your ministry and always sharing your husband as he traveled and preached. We will always love you!!!
