Not sure what to say?

Bessie was one of the finest people I have ever known. I never heard a negative word from her about any student or co-worker with whom we worked. It was an honor to serve for many years as her principal and colleague. I'm so sorry for your loss.

To The Family
Mrs. Armstead was one of a kind. She worked so hard with our children in our Congress II settings. Thanks so much for all you did to help mold our children. Our prayers are with you all. God's Blessings Susan V. Stubbs & Family

My deepest sympathy for your lost, May the God of Eternity that gives you strength to endure and the peace that surpasses all human understanding, To the Family of Sis Bessie Armstead. I knew for many years while I lived in Bradenton. She was a beautiful person that touched the lives of so many.

Mae Pearcey, Tampa Florida

Mrs Armstead was my 5th grade teacher. What I remembered the most about her was the attention to details she developed with each student. She was the standard in her prime when she was teaching. There will always be a place in my heart for a teacher that taught me so much.

She was always Classy and Elegant! Sleep well, 1st Lady !#TeamArmstead Together Again

Mrs. Armstead was my mentor at Wakeland Elementary when I began teaching in Manatee County. She was the most loveliest of ladies that ever graced this earth. I learned so much from her. I hold a special place in my heart for her always.
