Not sure what to say?

There is not a single day that goes by when I don't think about Betsi. Having Mackenzie and Kennedy in my wedding on June 19th was the most gratifying way for me to celebrate Betsi's life on a day when she should have been front and center with me. I will always be thankful for the gift of her friendship.

Dear Brooks and Krumm Families, I am so very sorry for your loss. I am flooded with childhood memories of Betsi back flipping across the MHCC golf course and singing Sheena Easton's Morning Train with all the unabashed heart and soul in the world. Her energy will always be with everyone who knew her.

Dearest Krumm and Brooks families-
I was speechless and shocked to learn that such a fun-loving person has left us. I will always remember Betsi as my childhood swim competitor with the red finger (from eating Kool-Aid powder)! Heaven is lucky to have her. May peace find her family and friends.

My thoughts & prayers are with your family at this time. I first met Betsi in 1977 at our Somerset School Kindergarten class - she had such a wonderful spirit & will be greatly missed!

Betsi was a dear friend who always gave me a reason to smile and laugh -- even when she was laughing at me. She had a beautiful heart and she was never shy to share it. Her family gave us a great gift, one that will be deeply missed but remembered with great fondness.

My Dearest Krumm/Brooks families,

I had the wonderful pleasure in meeting Betsi on several occasions. I remember her as a very warm, caring and beautiful woman. I will always remember her dynamic and contagious smile. My prayers are with you Berent and your beautiful daughters and also to both families during this very difficult time. May God Bless you all. I know Betsi is definitely smiling from the heavens above on each and everyone of you.

I haven't seen Betsi since high school and was extremely saddened to hear of her death. She made a tremendous impact as a positive, helpful, fun and kind person in the brief time I knew her. I'm very sorry for your loss and wish your whole family my deepest sympathy.

Betsi's beautiful smile, endless energy and outstanding sense of humor comprise my memories of Barstow. Her spirit will be forever.

I have not seen Betsi since those crazy Theta days at KU, but her spirit, laughter, and positive outlook will always be remembered. She had a great smile! Love to her family and friends. Jen Waters
