The Whiting family was a very well respected family in Holyoke and my interactions with Keren, Ricky and Mrs Whiting are still with me today, so many decades later! Dear Ann, Frank, Sophie, Ana, and Louisa, We are so sorry for the loss of your "Garlic." Betsy always welcomed us into her lovely home on beautiful Long Pond in Harwich. We remember her reading the New York Times and many nonfiction books, as well as watching tennis matches on television during the summer. It was wonderful to observe Betsy's love of swimming and playing rummy cube or pitch with her children and grandchildren. She had the best laugh and was the youngest, most amazing...

So sorry for everyone's loss. She was an extraordinary woman. And will be missed.
