Bette Ciontea Obituary
She was born on November 10, 1929 to the Late Sylvester and Josephine Loucks. Bette Jo retired from Data Processing with Shelby County after 25 years. She loved being outdoors. Bette Jo was an avid artist and enjoyed painting. Bette Jo loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Josephine Loucks; her husband, Joseph Ciontea, and the father of her three children, Marvin Kirkpatrick. Bette Jo was survived by three children, Sharon Pennington (Larry), Joanna Wages (Mark), and Michael Kirkpatrick (Alice). She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Parkway Bartlett, TN. Entombment will follow at Memorial Gardens.
